NEW PRICING AS OF JULY 15, 2011

Session fees are $100 (individuals or group shots of up to 5 people - each additional person is $10). This price includes time for session, post session editing, AND a set of print "proofs" (apx 30 - 4x6 - $80 value) that will be presented to you upon gallery completion at your post session consult. The (low res) cd is now optional- free with min $100 purchase or purchased seperately for $25 ea. You will still be able to order online if you wish, but if you opt for the personal consultation (within 10 working days of gallery completion) there will be a 20% discount on all orders.

Mini Sessions are $65. These are strictly for cards and usually will be advertised in Fall and Spring. They include 25 cards of one pose and will be limited to 20 minute blocks on a certain pre-determined date.

It's already July?

Well, we've already established my lack of blog writing skills, which I had so hoped my lovely daughter was going to give me a hand with. But I am beginning to realize that blogging my photoshoots will be a nice way of telling you all a story about the wonderful friends I have made through photography and give you a glimpse into my world as well. SO, I will try to do better. And hopefully I will get caught up from recent shoots and share them here as well. Hope you all have a Happy Independence Day and GOD BLESS AMERICA!

ok...so apparently I fail at blogging

Life takes over and we don't make time for all the things we should. I thought this blog was going to be a joint effort, between me and my daughter. She the writer, and I the photographer. Well...not so much. She's always busy and so am I. Anway, a LOT has happened since I last posted. Too much to share, (maybe one day soon I'll have time) but let's just say I feel blessed as always. In so many ways. We've been through some amazing months this winter/spring. God is speaking, we are listening (or at least trying to), and he is blessing.  I heard a quote once that I'll never forget. "Stop asking God to bless what you are doing and start doing what God is blessing!" AMEN!

Reflections Of Grace Studios

Well, It's official! I am starting 2011 out right, and jumping in with both feet! Reflections Of Grace Studios is officially open for business. You may notice on my website, that some changes have been made. Policies, pricing, and great incentives! However, I can no longer offer the high resolution CD. (believe me, I have thought long and hard and prayed and pondered over this) You will still get a low resolution CD, with all of your photos, for emailing and social networks. Please understand that I value each of you as a customer, and truly hope we can maintain a good relationship. I appreciate your prayers and support as I begin this journey and hope to see you all soon!

Merry Christmas and blessings to all!

Wow, I guess I haven't been too faithful with the blog thing...

The last few months have flown by, all the puppies have homes, I have a 15 year old permitted driving child, I've done a lot of Photography, Christmas is in just a few days and will be gone before we can blink...and then it all starts over. New Year, new goals, new trials, new triumphs. Sometimes I wish we could just stop time for a moment, just be still and relax, reflect on what all has happened in the last year, listen for God to speak, spend time in the Word.  I guess we can choose to "stop time" whenever we want, we just don't think we HAVE time.  We get so caught up in work, school, "Mom's taxi service", Photography (e-hem Maria), shopping, socializing, concerts, and yes, sometimes even our ministry can keep us from getting before the Father to listen.  Really listen. Most of us are guilty of it, I know I am.  We talk the talk, but are we really walking the walk? Do we uphold the same level of communication with the Father that we do with our best friends, our spouse, our co-workers even? 

As Christmas is upon us and the year comes to a close, I challenge all of us to not wait until the New Year to make resolutions.  Make a commitment NOW to get before the Father EVERY DAY and really listen. Get so caught up in his Word that you can't get enough. That's where I want to be!
